We do the following to make sure that we honour our commitment:
- Ensure that we not only comply with equality legislation but follow and promote good practice
- Check our policies and procedures to make sure they are fair and non-discriminatory
- Ensure our staff, Board and resident representatives receive appropriate training
- Work closely with community groups to ensure all our potential customers know about our services
- Work with support and advice agencies to ensure we are effectively helping our customers get the right help, when we cannot provide it to them
- Work with schools and community based organisations to provide work experience and training to build skills in the community. We want our workforce to reflect our diverse community.
